Hermes Scarf ‘Les Amazones’ by Jean-Louis Dumas c. 1976
Hermes Scarf ‘Les Amazones’ by Jean-Louis Dumas c. 1976
The French language, drawing on mythology, uses the word ‘amazones’ for horse women - making it the perfect title for this scene focusing predominantly on female horse riders. Originally released in 1976, I believe this one to be a re-release from the 80’s though I had a hard time confirming any re-issue years. (So it *may* be an original issue.)
It is moderately rare which is the only reason I can find for it’s higher retail value ($500-$700 😳)
I love this particular colorway for it’s neutral palette making it the perfect investment piece to be able to wear with the majority of your wardrobe.
